Ukpai, Emeka Kalu

He had over 10 years of Banking experience and was fortunate to pioneer the establishment and supervision of the internal control arm of a commercial Bank, Continental Trust Bank with high automation of processes. He ended his Banking career in Oceanic Bank in 2009 where he headed and supervised the IT Audit and control unit.

He has also been in the Academia. Mr. Ukpai has accumulated over twenty-two years of cognate experience.

He is a professional Accountant and specialist in IT Audit. He is a member of several professional bodies local and international including among others: the Institute Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA), the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and the Certified Information System Auditors (CISA) both of US. He is also apart time lecturer in Audit and Assurance Services, Corporate Governance and Good Governance practice for the ACCA final Students with one of the foremost ACCA-accredited training Colleges in Nigeria, CBA BUSINESS ACADEMY. 

Mr Emeka was one of the few Nigerian professionals who had the opportunity to participate in the first-ever National Extractive Industry Transparency Initiative (NEITI) audits in the country and gained tremendous experience from that assignment working with international consultants.

He was part of the team that handled a WORLD BANK SPONSORED PROJECT for the review Payroll system for the Federal Government of Nigeria in 2004. He also participated in the computerization of accounting system in the Accountant General of the Federation office with A. J.  K. Consultants. He worked briefly with DEBTFORCE LTD, a major consultant to AMCON and acquired tremendous experience on issues relating with AMCON.
